The most sensitive hearts
carry the heaviest burdens.

You don’t have to anymore.

Welcome to The Little Fortress.
A sanctuary where your sensitivity is no longer a wound, but a gift.

You feel everything more deeply than the people around you.

And for a long time,
you’ve wondered
if something is wrong with you.

There is nothing wrong with you.

You’re exhausted from the endless swing between feeling too much, or nothing at all.

The overwhelm, the ache,
the need to numb yourself just to survive,
and the weight of carrying it alone.

You were never meant to carry it alone.

Somewhere along the way you learned that your sensitivity wasn’t welcome.

So you tried to be “normal” —
by shrinking, pushing through,
and performing okay-ness.
You told yourself that the only
way to survive this world
was to be the opposite of who you are.
And still, something inside you
keeps saying:
there has to be another way to live.

And it won’t stop until you’re listening.

I know this exact place you’re in.

I spent years feeling everything too deeply, wondering why the world felt so loud and so heavy when everyone else seemed just fine.

My own journey through being a highly sensitive person, dealing with depression, burnout, disconnection, and autoimmune illness taught me something I wish someone had told me sooner:

That your sensitivity was never the problem. It was always the portal.

I’m Tatyana Akman. Inner guide, Reiki master, an artist, and founder of The Little Fortress. I’m here to walk you home.

The Inner Sanctuary Healing Experience

  • Safety is the most important foundation of any healing work.

Without it, the nervous system stays guarded — and what needs to be seen, felt, and released remains just out of reach. True healing cannot happen in an unsafe space.

This is why before anything else, we take the time to arrive together. To establish genuine trust, warmth, and presence — so that when we go deeper, you feel held every step of the way.

Because the depth of your healing is directly proportional to the safety of your container.

  • Most of us were never taught how to turn inward without judgment. We analyse, criticise, and brace ourselves for what we might find.

But genuine healing asks something different — it asks for curiosity. A soft, open, loving quality of attention that meets whatever arises without verdict.

This is why the questions we ask matter as much as the answers we find. The right question — asked with warmth and precision at exactly the right moment — can illuminate in an instant what years of self-analysis never could. Questions so precise that clients often say they would never have found their way there alone.

Here, your inner world is approached not as a problem to be solved, but as a landscape to be explored. With curiosity as your compass and loving kindness as your guide.

What you meet with compassion is a seed of transformation.

  • The mind can understand something completely — and still the body holds on.

This is because no matter how much we resolve things mentally, intellectual insight alone becomes just that — knowledge. The body doesn’t speak in logic. It speaks in sensation. And until the body receives the message that the threat is over, it will keep holding on — no matter what the mind believes.

This is especially true for highly sensitive people, whose nervous systems are exquisitely attuned to everything around and within them.

This is why healing must be embodied — not just understood. Here we work gently with the body as its own intelligent being, the way you would tend to an infant — not with force or analysis, but with presence, attunement, and care. Through Reiki and energetic work, we reach the places where words cannot go, uncovering the root and releasing it fully from your system.

Because true healing isn’t something you think your way into. It’s something you embody fully.

  • At some point in our lives, we learned to protect the most tender parts of ourselves from pain.

We tucked them away. Kept them safe. And for a time, that protection was necessary — even wise.

But protection, left unexamined, can slowly become abandonment. And living disconnected from these parts means living disconnected from your own depth, aliveness, and wholeness.

This is where we turn back toward what was left behind — gently, and at a pace that honors your sensitivity. It can feel tender. That tenderness is not something to push through. It is something to be met with presence. It is the feeling of coming home to yourself.

Sometimes this looks like reconciliation. Sometimes conflict resolution. Sometimes it’s simply saying hello — getting acquainted with a part of you that has been waiting a long time to be seen.

Whatever unfolds, we always leave knowing ourselves more deeply than when we arrived.

You are not becoming someone new. You are remembering who you always were.

From soulful creatives to fellow healers, from quiet overthinkers to high achievers carrying more than anyone can see — those who find their way to The Little Fortress arrive with something heavy.

What they find here is rarely what they expected.

Not someone analyzing them from a distance. Not a framework to follow or a method to perform. But someone who has lived it — who knows this terrain not from a textbook but from the inside — sitting beside them with full presence, genuine warmth, and a clarity that makes them feel seen in ways they never have before.

Deeply held. Gently guided. Profoundly transformed.
